Pandan.ph Blog

Pandan.ph Blog has a new look. I just finished redesigning it. I simply modified a Blogger template to make it look like Pandan.ph Pandan Antique Philippines site.

Thanks goodness, I finished it. It's not quite the same with Pandan.ph Pandan Antique Philippines site, but at least, in my opinion, the new design is better.

Well, I call it a day, after spending the whole afternoon, at least 6 hours, redesigning and testing it again and again, until I got satisfied with the output. My gosh, it took me that long!

Anyway, it doesn't matter now. It's done. I feel like I have accomplished something for the day.

Ok! Ciao and have a good night sleep!

New Issue of Bulalakaw Newsletter

I have been designing websites for quite sometime now. Bulalakaw Newsletter is one of those sites. Bulalakaw's first issue was in 2000, and since then, we would always have an issue once a year. There's no definite date and no definite month.

I am really so proud of Bulalakaw Newsletter. It is only possible with a concerted effort from the Editor-in-Chief, Web Designer, contributors, and its supporters.

I just uploaded the pages of the new issue of Bulalakaw Newsletter. You can access it at www.bulalakaw.net.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Ma'am Thelma Mantac Ramos, our Editor-in-Chief from Washington, USA, for her untiring support editing the articles despite her busy schedule. She would always find the time just to be able to help.

I also would like to thank SB Raymund Gumboc of Pandan, Antique, Philippines, for organizing and motivating the youth. Thanks for the initiative, we have a new issue of Bulalakaw.

Also, thanks to the contributors for writing the articles. It's nice to know that we have such people like you, always there to help others. I wish you good luck in all your endeavours.

Not to forget, thanks to the photographers for taking the pictures. The photos would definitely make the Bulalakaw's new issue more interesting.

Last but not the least, thanks to Francisco Velasco for sending the pictures.

Again, thanks to the contributors...

Thanks to the photographers...

Of course, I will never forget you, dear readers and supporters, thanks for visiting Bulalakaw, and all my other sites. Thank you very much.

Until next time! God bless you always!

Au revoir, Ciao!

Web Designs

I just finished designing a dive site for Aqualife Divers Academy. I actually finished it 2 weeks ago. It took me 5 weeks to finish it. Pictures underwater were lacking and I had a hard time thinking what to do with those pages, the dive courses and dive sites pages.

For the meantime, the pictures will do. I'll just change them once I go back to Boracay. I will definitely ask Erich to take a lot of pictures underwater.

You can access and view the website of Aqualife Divers Academy at http://www.boracaydivers.com or http://www.divingboracay.com.

Right now, I'm also doing another site. Actually, it exists already. I'm just updating it. We'll be having a new issue of Bulalakaw Newsletter. Check it out at the end of the month. I will be uploading the new issue on or before July 29, 2005.

Well, that's all for now. Till nex time, pals!

Hello again!

Hello, hello again!

I have been wanting to write here but got so very busy. I didn't know what to write here anyway.

I was just reading few articles about blogging and they really have good points. But then, they also say that it's time consuming. I do believe that it is really time consuming. Even if you have a lot of things in your mind, putting them into writing will really eat a lot of your time.

How I wish, I could do this regularly. Wish................................. hahaha................

But if there's a will, there's a way... Hurrah!!!

Tugbong Festival Photos

My, this is what I thought. Blogging is nice but I can't write regularly. It's been a while since I wrote here. I just came back from my vacation in the Philippines. It was fun but tiring. Well, you see, I was taking pictures during the Tugbong Festival last April 21 to 25, 2005. You can view the pictures at the Tugbong Festival Website at http://tugbong.pandan.ph or exactly at this page Tugbong Festival 2005 Photo Gallery. Now that I'm back home, I'm busy again, updating and creating websites. I have another one being developed right now. I just hope that I will also be able to update our wedding and vacation site. But I will! Really, I will! Soon! Hmmm...

So, I guess this is all for now. Got to work... if you call it work 'coz' it's just a hobby which keeps me really busy. What else should I do? Hahahaha...

Forgot something?

Well, well, well... so you see, that refugee thing didn't occur to me. I'm not anymore very keen on telling you about it.

Anyway, I'm just happy that I finally finished the improved look of Tugbong Festival Website and was able to get the subdomain tugbong.pandan.ph for the site. I just updated the site especially the schedule of activities that made me so excited to go home to the Philippines this April, in time for the fiesta celebration.

And, yesterday, I felt accomplished. I just helped Lux International, a website that I designed few years ago, getting their site online again after how many days of being inactive. They change their DNS and they didn't realize that the site was inactive. Well, now it's back to normal.

Today, I got up early. I'm waiting for some people, they're delivering my new office table. So, I'm just dilly-dallying here and writing whatever comes into my mind.

I have to stop now, I still need to do a lot of things, this and that... hmmm...

Blogging?

My, my, my... blogging? I have been contemplating on this for so many months now. But what am I doing here right now? Nothing really! Well, I also don't know how to start this but to keep me going, I need to write this. I have a lot in my mind that I don't even know where to begin. So I guess, I have to stop writing now. We'll see in the next few days if I could continue doing this.

Ok, ok, it seems like my fingers wouldn't want to stop... hmmm... I actually thought of something but I really don't know if I am ready to write it here. Maybe I could tell you tomorrow about it. If I will not forget it. I feel like it's a delicate topic to discuss here. I was just reading a letter from a refugee yesterday and I had mixed emotions if I have to publish it in a yahoo group since it has nothing to do with my town, and the group is supposed to be a venue for communication among Pandananons and friends and not for such campaigns.

Well!!! I'll see, I'll see... This is my first personal blog... so, we'll see what will happen to this blog site.

For today, I say "Adieu!"

Oh, I just remember, It's April Fools Day! But nobody was able to fool me and I didn't fool anybody!
